Step-by-step guides for caregivers, families, and helpers — from ordering a pendant to daily care and emergency tools.
What is Project Chetna?
Project Chetna is a One Health care and safety platform for elderly people and persons with disabilities. It connects QR identity, daily caregiving, and emergency response — without requiring helpers to install an app.
- QR pendants link to secure online care profiles
- Dashboard for families to manage care, medications, and scans
- Milaap Setu for missing-person registration and AI-assisted reunification
An initiative by Ridlan AI Foundation.
Quick start
- Sign in with Google
- Order a QR pendant
- Complete the care profile
- Open your dashboard
- Each day: confirm care and mark medications taken
Daily checklist
- ✓ Confirm care for each linked person
- ✓ Mark medications as taken
- ✓ Review new QR scans
Signing in
Go to /login and choose Continue with Google. You will land on the dashboard. Only you (and designated admins) can see your linked profiles.
Sign out using Logout at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar.
Ordering a QR pendant
Visit Order QR Pendant, choose a plan, pay via Razorpay, and enter delivery details. After payment, register the care profile for the person who will wear the pendant.
Each pendant has a unique UID encoded in its QR code.
Setting up a care profile
Edit profiles from Update Information or My People → View → Edit profile.
Fill in these fields
- Name, age, gender, address, city
- Emergency phone and family contact
- Blood group, allergies, medical history, disability/condition
- Nearest police station (recommended)
Accurate emergency numbers appear to helpers even before full profile verification.
Caregiver dashboard
Your home base is /dashboard.
Sidebar
- Overview — stats, continuity, medications, scans
- My People — all linked care profiles
- My Orders — pendant orders and delivery status
Overview highlights
- Stat pills: linked profiles, care stable count, meds today, scans (7d)
- Care continuity list with confirm buttons
- Medication adherence with mark-taken actions
- Care Readiness ring (% of profiles that are Stable)
Care continuity
Continuity tracks whether someone is receiving regular check-ins through QR scans or your daily care confirmations.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Stable | QR scan or care confirmation within the last 3 days |
| Needs attention | No activity for 3–6 days |
| At risk | No activity for 7+ days, or marked missing |
Confirm daily care
- On the dashboard, find the person under Care continuity
- Click Confirm care (once per person per day)
- Or confirm from My People → View
Medication reminders
Add a reminder
- Open My People → View
- Under Medication reminders, enter name and schedule
- Click Add reminder
Mark as taken
Use Mark taken on the dashboard or person detail page when the dose is given. The dashboard shows adherence (e.g. 2/3 confirmed today).
When someone scans the QR
Helpers do not need an account. Typical flow:
- Scan QR with phone camera
- Emergency number may show immediately at the top
- Helper enters mobile number and allows location
- Family receives email with helper contact and location
- Full care page opens: call, email, medical info, Milaap Setu link
Reporting a missing person
- Sign in and go to Update Information
- Find the person and use the Alert action to mark as missing
- Profile shows Missing; scanners see an alert on the care page
- Clear the alert when they are found
Milaap Setu
Milaap Setu helps reunite missing elderly and PwD with families.
- Register Missing — submit details and photo
- Find/Found Missing — scan or upload a face to search for matches
Helpers can also reach Milaap Setu from the QR care page via Help / Milaap Setu.
Remember with AI / Learning
The dashboard Learning tab hosts Remember with AI — AI-supported executive function training for autistic and specially-abled children. It complements therapies and school support; it does not replace therapists or educators.
Journey
- Child profile — guardian consent, age band, language, interests, sensory preferences, and therapeutic goals
- Today's focus — suggested skill from goals + lowest mastery
- Practice — skill wheel, domain activities (memory, emotion, safety), visual schedules
- Create with AI — generate a personalized illustrated lesson from a real situation
- Caregiver console — approve content, review insights, export progress
Guardian consent
A parent or guardian must consent before a learning profile is created. Progress and visual content are not used for advertising.
Skill wheel
Twelve executive function skills appear in a circle. Tap a skill for Learn (captioned slideshow / optional voice), Practice, and Progress.
Remember with AI tools
- Create with AI — generate step sequences and social stories (review-before-publish on by default)
- EF activities — working memory, sequencing, attention, emotion faces, safe/unsafe choices
- Visual schedules — illustrated daily living routines; swap one step image at a time
- One-step prompts — reminder assistant with one clear instruction
- Social stories & recall — calm stories and spaced practice
Caregiver / therapist role
Set goals, approve generated content, assign modules, read plain-language insights, and export CSV or print a report for IEP-style meetings. Reinforce skills at home.
Calm mode
Learning → Settings: reduce motion, mute autoplay/voice, larger text, dyslexia-friendly font. Defaults favor low sensory load and illustrated (non-photoreal) art.
Frequently asked questions
Do helpers need an app?
No — scanning opens a web page in the browser.
Why is location required on scan?
So the family knows where the person was when the QR was scanned.
How often should I confirm care?
Once per day per person, at a consistent time.
Can multiple caregivers share one profile?
Not yet — care circle sharing is planned. One Google account owns each profile today.
